Shining Star Music Academy is hiring music teachers in the Orlando area for immediate openings and the 2026 Fall Semester! We provide in-home music lessons, and our team handles scheduling, communication, and administrative support so you can focus on what you love—teaching music.
We are specifically seeking teachers who can teach violin, cello, and piano, with a strong current need for string teachers. We are especially interested in teachers located in or near Windermere, Lake Nona, Kissimmee, and surrounding Orlando areas, though qualified teachers throughout the Orlando area are encouraged to apply.
We have students available during weekday morning, afternoon, and evening hours. You'll be joining a passionate team of educators committed to quality instruction and joyful learning experiences.

Job Type

Compensation
- $29.50–$33.00 per teaching hour
- $14.00/hour for driving time between your first and last lesson
Work Location
- In-home lessons throughout the Orlando area
Minimum Requirements
Please do not apply if you do not meet all requirements:
- Music lesson experience as a student through private lessons and/or performance
- Live locally in or near Orlando, FL
- Willing to teach at least 2 hours per week
- Reliable vehicle
- Commitment to pursuing excellence in your instrument(s)
- Performance experience
- Self-directed and responsible
- Punctual and professional
- Passion for sharing music
- Flexible and student-centered teaching style
Also Desired (Not Required)
- Experience teaching any subject
- Experience working with children
- Ability to teach multiple instruments, particularly violin, cello, and piano
