Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly, attentive, and professional Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, excellent customer service skills, and experience working in fast-paced restaurant environments. This role involves taking orders, serving guests, and ensuring a memorable visit for all patrons. Prior experience in fine dining or hospitality settings is preferred. The Server will play a key role in maintaining the restaurant’s reputation for outstanding guest relations and food quality.
Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and provide attentive table service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders
- Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and sanitation
- Ensure food safety and proper handling procedures are followed at all times
- Assist with bussing tables, cleaning work areas, and resetting tables for new guests
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Maintain knowledge of menu items and ingredients to assist guests effectively
- Provide excellent guest relations by addressing inquiries, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring customer satisfaction
Skills
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally and courteously
- Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation practices
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
- Experience with food handling, preparation, or kitchen operations is a plus
- Familiarity with hospitality principles including guest relations, serving techniques, and restaurant operations
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
