Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic BCaBA/Parent Coordinator to join our dynamic team to support families throughout their ABA journey. As a BCaBA/Parent Coordinator, you will play an integral part in implementing evidence-based interventions, coordinating services, and fostering collaborative relationships with families. Responsibilities
- Family Liaison & Support: Acting as the main point of contact for parents to address concerns, explain services with compassion, and provide guidance from intake through the end of care.
- Parent Education Support: Coordinate and schedule monthly or bi‑monthly parent training meetings for all clients, including preparing agendas, documenting topics covered, and reporting outcomes to the clinical team.
- Scheduling & Logistics: Manage therapy schedules for families and staff, handle cancellations, and maintain smooth day‑to‑day operations.
- Onboarding & Intake: Facilitating the intake process for new clients, which includes gathering preliminary information, helping parents navigate initial assessments, and managing intake paperwork.
- Insurance & Authorizations: Monitoring case timelines and insurance authorizations to ensure services remain within approved hours and that billing/payment concerns are addressed.
- Clinical Collaboration: Communicating regularly with Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs), student analysts, and technicians to update them on family feedback and ensure treatment plans align with family needs.
- Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation and ensure parent communication aligns with clinical goals and ethical standards.
Qualifications
- Active BCaBA certification in good standing
- Exceptional organization, time‑management, and follow‑through
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with families
- Familiarity with data collection methods (Ensora, WebABA, etc.), medical documentation standards, HIPAA compliance, and medical terminology.
- Ability to balance administrative responsibilities with family‑focused support
- Proven experience working with children and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Experience working within special education settings or with individuals with disabilities is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals.
- Ability to manage multiple cases efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in patient assessment and progress tracking.
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
