Location: New Orleans, Louisiana
Duration: 6 Months
Candidates must be able to participate in video interviews. There will be 1–2 video interviews.
This role requires working onsite 5 days a week in New Orleans, and no relocation assistance is provided.
The candidate does not need to currently reside in New Orleans, Louisiana, but must be willing and able to relocate immediately upon receiving an offer for the position.
Focused on setting up internal ADO environment - should be Agile heavy or even a SCRUM Master; needs to understand how projects should be run to be able to set it up correctly.
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with deep expertise in Agile methodologies and Azure DevOps (ADO) to lead the configuration, optimization, and adoption of our internal ADO environment. This is a 3-6month contract focused on establishing scalable Agile practices, improving team workflows, and ensuring effective project visibility and delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the setup, configuration, and optimization of Azure DevOps (ADO) to support Agile project delivery across the organization
- Define and implement Agile best practices, including Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives
- Establish and structure work item hierarchies (Epics, Features, User Stories) to ensure clarity, traceability, and alignment with business objectives
- Configure and manage ADO boards, backlogs, workflows, and dashboards, including burndown charts and reporting metrics
- Drive process standardization and continuous improvement across teams using ADO
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on Agile methodologies and effective use of ADO
- Ensure visibility into project progress through reporting, metrics, and dashboards

Required Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in Project Management within Agile environments
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) configuration and administration
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks, including backlog management and sprint execution
- Experience structuring Epics, Features, and User Stories
- Proven ability to implement and optimize Agile tools and processes
- Excellent stakeholder communication and facilitation skills
