Duties
- Perform comprehensive cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and surface sanitation in residential and commercial settings
- Implement cleaning and sanitation procedures to ensure compliance with health standards and safety regulations
- Use appropriate cleaning equipment and detergents effectively for floor care, carpet cleaning, and surface cleaning
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens or clothing items
- Conduct outdoor work as needed, including trash removal and cleaning exterior surfaces
- Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or cleaning supplies safely and efficiently
- Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning needs and provide excellent customer service
Qualifications
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services
- Knowledge of cleaning detergents, equipment maintenance, and sanitation procedures
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and handle manual tasks with proper technique
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently throughout the workday
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly with clients
- Experience in floor care, carpet cleaning, dusting, and surface sanitation preferred
- Outdoor work experience is a plus for tasks involving exterior cleaning or yard maintenance
