Power Washing Lead Technician
Location: Fairfax, VA
Pay: $900–$1,250 per week
Job Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Friday, starting at 7:00 AM, with every other Saturday.Typical End Time: Between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM, depending on the daily schedule
$500 Sign-On Bonus after 60 days of employment
Shine Select is hiring an experienced Exterior Cleaning Lead Technician to lead residential and commercial cleaning projects throughout Northern Virginia.
This is a field-based leadership position for someone who has experience in exterior cleaning or a related trade, takes pride in producing quality work, and is comfortable leading and training other technicians.
Responsibilities
- Lead exterior cleaning projects from start to finish
- Perform pressure washing, soft washing, roof cleaning, gutter cleaning, window cleaning, and other exterior cleaning services
- Lead job-site setup, production, cleanup, and final quality inspections
- Train and supervise Assistant Technicians
- Conduct customer walkthroughs before and after each job
- Communicate professionally with customers and address questions or concerns
- Ensure all work is completed safely and according to company standards
- Maintain company vehicles, equipment, tools, and supplies
- Communicate with office staff regarding schedules, job progress, and customer needs
- Represent Shine Select professionally at every job site
Compensation
Lead Technicians earn approximately $900–$1,250 per week based on experience, productivity, leadership, and overall performance.

Qualifications
- Previous experience in exterior cleaning, pressure washing, soft washing, window cleaning, roofing, landscaping, construction, or another related skilled trade
- Previous crew leadership or employee training experience is strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record
- Reliable transportation to and from work
- Valid government-issued photo ID
- Comfortable working outdoors in changing weather conditions
- Comfortable climbing ladders and working at heights
- Ability to safely lift and carry up to 90 pounds
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Dependable, professional, and able to take responsibility for job quality
- Ability to lead by example and work effectively with a team
