Job Overview
As a Patient Care Technician at our healthcare facility, you will play a crucial role in providing direct patient care under the supervision of staff. You will work in various clinical settings such as medical-surgical units, outpatient clinics, and Level I or Level II Trauma Centers.
Pay details:
$24.5 hourly straight for Local candidates (under 50 miles)
$28.5 hourly (Including stipend) for Travelers
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Monitor and record vital signs
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure high-quality patient care
- Perform basic procedures under the guidance of registered
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families
- Maintain a clean and organized patient care environment
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a healthcare setting is preferred
- Knowledge of patient care techniques and procedures
- Familiarity with working in diverse clinical areas such as LTC, and Inpatient units
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Certification as a LNA
Must have Vermont State license
Minimum 2 years of experience required.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Overtime
- Weekends as needed
