Custodian and Grounds Maintenance

Position is full-time, Monday-Friday, 6am-5pm (start/ending time may be earlier in winter months, as needed).

Responsibilities include:

• Daily sweeping/mopping, vacuuming, tidying and wiping down facility spaces, including the office, break rooms & restrooms
• Restocking necessary items (soap, paper products, etc.)
• Cleaning mirrors, windows, etc. as needed
• Empty trash cans regularly
• Assist with general outdoor facility maintenance as assigned, such as seasonal tasks (removing snow from walkway, salting as needed, etc.)
• Upkeep and appearance of grounds in outdoor areas, including grass, trees, shrubs and other general landscaping
• Clear walkways and parking lots of debris, snow, leaves, etc. with use of skid loaders, forklifts and general groundskeeper equipment
• General maintenance or minor repair of tools, equipment, structures, fences, etc. as needed
• Other duties as assigned

The successful candidate will:

• Take pride in their work and have an attention to detail
• Have the ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
• Be knowledgeable in the use of office cleaning products
• Have experience as a custodian, janitor, housekeeper, groundskeeper or similar role(s)
• Be a reliable, professional presence in our office, as a member of our team
• Have the ability to work all day on your feet, and be able to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Have experience with general grounds equipment (preferred, but will train the right candidate)
• Be able to work in outdoor weather conditions

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $18.75 per hour
