What You'll Be Doing

As Location Manager, you'll oversee every aspect of the operation, including:

Managing daily scrap yard and recycling operations. Purchasing and grading ferrous and nonferrous metals. Leading, coaching, and developing employees. Managing customer and supplier relationships. Overseeing shipping, receiving, and inventory control. Ensuring safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance. Managing office administration. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll spend time both in the yard and in the office.

What We're Looking For

Required:

Experience in the scrap metal recycling industry. Strong knowledge of ferrous and nonferrous metals. Leadership and employee management experience. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to make decisions and take ownership of results. Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Bonus Points For:

Knowledge of commodity markets and pricing. Experience with scrap yard software and reporting systems.
