What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Support Professional position at SHINE AT HOME HOMECARE LLC?
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Support individuals in developing life skills and increasing independence
- Implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs) or care plans
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with medication administration as permitted by state guidelines
- Transport individuals to appointments, community outings, and activities
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment
- Monitor and document individuals’ progress, behaviors, and any incidents
- Follow all agency policies, procedures, and state regulations
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and ensure client safety at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and family members
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
