Job Responsibilities
This position supports the day-to-day operations of the firm across client service, billing, and workflow coordination, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for both clients and internal teams.
- Client Communication & Experience:Connect with clients to support their payment and electronic signature questions, ensuring a positive, smooth experience throughout.
- Billing & Accounts Receivable:Prepare and deliver client invoices with accuracy. Monitor accounts receivable and proactively follow up on outstanding balances. Partner with professional staff to drive a structured, efficient billing and collections process.
- E-filing Support: Assist with tracking filing deadlines and timely e-filing of returns and extensions.
- Process Administration & Workflow:Process electronic and paper tax returns and filings with a high degree of accuracy. Maintain organized digital records and project management workflow in systems.
- Technology & Office Efficiency:Support internal teams by becoming a resource for software tools. Assist in implementing process improvements, best practices, and new systems to support overall efficiency of the firm.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and project management abilities.
- Ability to problem-solve and adapt when needed.
- Prior experience in an administrative role at a public accounting firm is preferred but not required. We will provide thorough training for individuals who are eager to learn in a positive and communicative culture.
- Proficiency with Ultra Tax, Safe Send, or Asana is a plus.
- Knowledge of basic financial and HR procedures is a plus.
