Overview
Shimmick is seeking a highly talented Business Manager to support ongoing project activity in Hawaii. This position will be responsible for accounting for the budgeted and actual cost of operations, processes, departments, and/or products and the analysis of variances and/or profitability.

Responsibilities
The respnsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Has advanced knowledge of project accounting, providing support for the most complex and/or large-scale projects.
- Under general direction, makes recommendations for project improvement based on review of financial results and knowledge of project(s).
- Researches general ledger account reconciliations, journal entry preparation and A/R cash adjustments.
- Works with customers or clients to gather and provide information.
- Reviews contracts for additional service opportunities and assist in converting project proposal into project budget.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- BA/BS 2 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Heavy civil project accounting experience.

The salary range for this position is between $85,000 - $110,000 per year depending on experience and/or education.
