Responsibilities
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assists in the coordination of the company-wide business development program.
- Performs customer outreach on potential new customers.
- Discusses customers’ preferred requirements and arranges for meetings between prospective customers and representatives of various company functional areas.
- Compiles and analyzes statistics pertinent to the company's business development.
- Supports daily correspondence and activities of business development leadership.
- Supports pipeline database development and data entry.
- Updates database with pursuit notes and activities.
- Manages event registration, dues, sponsorships and memberships.
- Research existing and prospective clients and projects to support business strategy.
- Works closely with preconstruction and proposal teams to coordinate pursuit management activities.
- Maintains meeting calendars, prepares meeting agendas and assists with material development.
- Attends and participates in industry outreach and events as needed.
- Local/regional travel for industry events and related activities.
- Performs additional assignments per management’s direction.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree and 2 years’ experience in sales, business development, market research, or related, or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
- Sales or Business Development experience.
- Three years plus of experience in sales, business development, administration and/or related job roles.
- Prior experience in the construction industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent multi-tasking and prioritizing skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (heavy on excel and PowerPoint).

Salary : $95,000 - $115,000
