Overview
Heavy Equipment Mechanic wanted experienced in maintaining and repairing Caterpillar Scrapers, Motor Graders, Dozers, Haul Trucks and Loaders. All working primarily day shift Mon-Fri. Responsibilities
- Maintaining and repairing equipment safely.
- Watching for any unsafe conditions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections on vehicles to ensure safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of repairs and maintenance performed.
- Communicate effectively with co-workers over mine radios.
- Adhere to all mine traffic rules and regulations while on the site.
Skills
- Proficient in maintaining equipment a benefit.
- Experience on mine sites preferable.
- Experience with CAT diagnostics and troubleshooting is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and customers.
- MSHA preferred but will train if not certified.
Job Type: Full-time
