Essential Functions – Data Management & Analysis:
1) Extracts, cleans, transforms, and validates data from multiple sources, including ERP Systems, Quality Systems, and production databases.
2) Develops advanced data models, visualizations, and reports using tools such as Power BI, SQL and Microsoft Access.
3) Analyzes production, inventory, quality, scrap, and labor efficiency trends to support operational decision-making.
4) Builds and maintains dashboards for real-time monitoring of KPI's (production throughput, quality audits, scrap, cycle time).
5) Ensures data accuracy and integrity, completeness, and security in alignment with IT and regulatory standards.
6) Troubleshoots data discrepancies, partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve system and data issues.
Essential Functions - Manufacturing Systems Support:
1) Collaborates with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Finance to understand data needs and translate business requirements into analytical solutions.
2) Supports integration of shop floor and production floor systems, to include barcode systems and machine logs.
3) Identifies automation opportunities and streamlines data workflows to reduce manual processes and eliminate redundancies.
4) Assists with ERP enhancements, upgrades, data migrations, and implementations, to include process workflow and data validation.
5) Recommends improvements based on statistical analysis, trend analysis, and operational insights.
6) Participates in Lean, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives using data-driven methods.
7) Performs duties in support of the company's certifications (example: ISO and FDA/QSR).
Essential Functions – Documentation & Training:
1) Creates and maintains documentation for datasets, data dictionaries, workflows, and reporting processes.
2) Provides user training for dashboards, self-service analytics, and reporting tools.
3) Supports IT governance and compliance efforts, including data retention and audit requirements.

Job Conditions:
Office/manufacturing environment with presence on the production floor as needed.
Working a minimum of 40 hours per week is expected. May require working more than 8 hours per day or 40 hours per week to complete essential duties of the job.
Physical Requirements:
Constant: Sitting or standing, use of hands, wrists and fingers for writing and keyboarding, grasping parts and using hand tools, hearing/listening, and talking.
Frequent: Exposure to standard manufacturing elements, including noise, moving equipment, and PPE areas.
Occasional: Walking, bending, reaching, lifting and carrying up to 35 lbs. for troubleshooting equipment or data collection activities. Visual acuity to be able to read printed documents and computer screens.
Education & Experience:
Required:
Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Intelligence, Industrial Engineering, or related field
Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment working with production, operations, or quality data
Proficiency with SQL, relational databases, and data modeling
Solid understanding of ERP systems and manufacturing process flows.
Experience with business intelligence tools and dashboard design
Preferred:
Experience in regulated manufacturing industries (medical devices, aerospace, electronics)
Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
Exposure to ISO environments
