During Your Internship, You Will Have The Opportunity To
Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is seeking an Enterprise Applications Intern to support the Enterprise Business Applications team in improving enterprise data quality and governance. In this role, you will assist with gathering business requirements, analyzing solution designs, and supporting the development of analytical tools and dashboards used to monitor and improve data quality across business systems. You will also participate in development and testing activities aligned with Agile methodologies while contributing to documentation and deployment support.

Shimadzu Scientific Instruments is seeking an Enterprise Applications Intern to support the Enterprise Business Applications team in improving enterprise data quality and governance. In this role, you will assist with gathering business requirements, analyzing solution designs, and supporting the development of analytical tools and dashboards used to monitor and improve data quality across business systems. You will also participate in development and testing activities aligned with Agile methodologies while contributing to documentation and deployment support.
Job Functions Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Assist with identifying data quality challenges and gathering business requirements from stakeholders
- Support analysis and proposal of solution designs aligned with enterprise data management goals
- Assist with development of analytical tools and dashboards using business intelligence and database technologies
- Participate in development cycles aligned with Agile project methodologies
- Support testing, validation, and refinement of solutions with subject matter experts
- Contribute to solution documentation including design, deployment, and operational materials
- Assist with deployment support and system updates as needed
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related discipline
- Basic understanding of databases and data structures
- Familiarity with data visualization or reporting concepts
- Experience or coursework with data analytics and reporting tools such as Power BI including Power Query and DAX, Microsoft SQL or T-SQL, and other data reporting or analytics platforms
