Make a Difference Every DayShiloh Empowerment Services is seeking an experienced Qualified Developmental Disability Professional (QDDP) to provide clinical oversight, program leadership, and staff supervision for individuals with developmental disabilities receiving community-based services. This role ensures compliance with Virginia DBHDS regulations, oversees ISPs and BSPs, and supports Direct Support Professionals in delivering high-quality, person-centered care.This is a 1099-contractor position.What You’ll DoOversee admissions, evaluations, program development, implementation, and dischargesCoordinate, develop, and review Individual Support Plans (ISPs) and Behavioral Support Plans (BSPs)Monitor and document individual progress monthly and quarterly using measurable outcomesSupervise and train Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)Ensure compliance with DBHDS standards, company policies, and licensing requirementsMaintain accurate documentation in Therap and WAMs electronic medical record systemsCollaborate with families, CSBs, support coordinators, consultants, and community partnersCoordinate professional evaluations and service planningProvide in-service staff training and enforce mandatory training complianceParticipate in administrative and leadership duties as assignedWhat We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for a Qualified Developmental Disability Professional (QDDP) who is compassionate, organized, and confident in leading community-based programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. The ideal candidate is both people-centered and detail-oriented, with a strong understanding of Virginia DBHDS regulations, program compliance, and clinical oversight.The right candidate will:Meet Virginia QDDP eligibility requirementsHave hands-on experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities in community or residential settingsDemonstrate strong leadership and supervision skills, with the ability to guide, train, and support Direct Support ProfessionalsBe confident in developing, reviewing, and monitoring ISPs and BSPs to ensure person-centered, goal-driven outcomesBe highly organized and comfortable managing documentation, audits, and electronic medical records (Therap, WAMs, or similar systems)Communicate effectively with families, support coordinators, consultants, and community partnersUnderstand how to balance clinical oversight, compliance, and compassion in daily operationsTake initiative, problem-solve independently, and remain flexible in a growing organizationAlign with a mission rooted in dignity, empowerment, accountability, and excellence in careThis role is ideal for a QDDP who wants to lead with purpose, influence program quality, and play a meaningful role in building strong, compliant, and impactful services.QualificationsApplicants must meet Virginia QDDP requirements and have at least one (1) year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, plus one of the following:Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, Sociology, Special Education, or Rehabilitation CounselingRegistered Nurse (RN) licensed in VirginiaLicensed Occupational TherapistLicensed Physician (MD or DO) in VirginiaWork ExpectationsAbility to work an in office hours schedule of 9am-4:45pm Monday through Friday.Ensure compliance with Virginia DBHDS regulations and company policiesProvide consistent program and clinical oversight aligned with individual ISPsComplete documentation accurately and on time using Therap/WAMsSupervise, train, and support Direct Support Professionals (DSPs)Lead team meetings, case reviews, and staff trainings as scheduledCommunicate professionally with families, support coordinators, and partnersMaintain confidentiality and professional boundariesDemonstrate reliability, accountability, and flexibility to meet program needs Company DescriptionShiloh Empowerment Services is a state licensed non center based adult day center based in Fairfax, Virginia.
