Evening Custodian
Shiloh Christian School is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Evening Custodians to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming learning environment. This is a great opportunity to be part of a Christ-centered community that values excellence and service in all areas, including our facilities.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and trash removal in classrooms, offices, and hallways
- Cleaning and restocking bathrooms (sinks, toilets, urinals, mirrors, soap, paper, etc.)
- Maintaining a tidy custodial room and reporting maintenance needs
- Supporting event setup or schedule changes as needed
- Collaborating respectfully with staff, students, and visitors
- Upholding cleaning and safety standards throughout the building
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Basic knowledge of cleaning safety and sanitizing practices
- Professional and courteous with all members of the school community
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and handle physical tasks
- Flexibility for occasional evening events or schedule adjustments
- Experience preferred, but not required—willing to train the right candidate
- Background check required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
