Shildan Group is a leading national distributor of commercial and institutional terracotta façade systems, known for our commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our dynamic team. We are seeking a highly organized and results-driven Project Manager who will play a key role in coordinating all aspects of façade system projects—from design collaboration to material delivery and installation support. This role requires strong communication, organizational, and technical skills, along with a proactive mindset and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with installers and design teams to coordinate and review shop drawings
- Prepare and issue RFIs to resolve drawing discrepancies
- Maintain submittal schedules to ensure timely material deliveries
- Perform material takeoffs and prepare order confirmations
- Generate purchase orders and coordinate material fabrication
- Schedule and manage deliveries with installers and freight companies
- Support installer training on terracotta systems and installation techniques
- Receive and unload material containers at the warehouse (forklift training provided)
- Conduct site visits to review installation plans and support field teams
- Track and invoice materials as they ship
- Communicate delivery updates and maintain accurate packing documentation
- Coordinate with Sales and Preconstruction teams on project status
- Work with vendors to meet delivery timelines and stay within budget
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of project management experience in the construction industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), with experience in project management tools (e.g., Monday, MS Project, etc.) being a plus.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to collaborate with diverse teams and external vendors.
- Attention to detail and a proactive problem-solving approach.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
