We are looking for an Entry-Level Event Assistant who is a confident communicator and thrives in live, in-person settings. If you're someone who enjoys engaging with the public, can hold a conversation with ease, and likes the idea of being out and about rather than behind a desk, this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing as an Event Assistant:
- Engaging customers in-person at retail locations, events, and community areas
- Representing well-known brands through face-to-face sales campaigns
- Speaking directly with new and prospective customers about our client’s products or services
- Answering questions and guiding customers through the sign-up process
- Supporting team sales goals and contributing to a positive event atmosphere
Who Makes a Great Event Assistant:
- Strong communication skills and a confident, outgoing personality
- Enjoys speaking with people and building rapport quickly
- Comfortable in fast-paced, face-to-face environments
- Positive, motivated, and excited to learn new skills
- Customer service experience is a plus — but not required
- Able to work on-site (Washington, DC)
