Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physical Therapist role based in Rome, GA. The Physical Therapist will evaluate new clients, develop individualized treatment plans, and deliver one-on-one, evidence-informed interventions focused on functional goals and long-term mobility. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, providing manual therapy and therapeutic exercise, instructing in home exercise programs, and monitoring progress toward outcomes. The role involves educating clients and their families on injury prevention, movement strategies, and wellness, as well as documenting care in a timely and accurate manner. The Physical Therapist will collaborate closely with other clinicians, contribute to a positive, motivating clinic environment, and support community outreach or wellness initiatives as needed.
Qualifications
- Licensed (or license-eligible) Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from an accredited program
- Current or pending Georgia Physical Therapy license in good standing
- Strong skills in patient evaluation, functional movement analysis, and individualized treatment planning
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise prescription, and neuromuscular re-education
- Ability to educate clients clearly on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and lifestyle modifications
- Effective written and electronic documentation skills, with attention to detail and compliance
