Role Description
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Hydrovac Swamper to support Hydrovac
excavation operations at various job sites. This role involves assisting with equipment
operation, maintaining safety standards, and performing physically demanding outdoor
work in all weather conditions. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to build

Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Hydrovac Operator with safe operation of Hydrovac truck equipment
- Set up job sites with proper safety barriers and signage
- Handle high-pressure water hoses and vacuum systems
- Locate and expose underground utilities (gas, water, electric, telecom)
- Clean oil & gas equipment
- Perform daily maintenance checks on trucks and tools
- Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards
- Load and unload tools, materials, and equipment
- Clean and prepare job sites before and after work
- Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required:
- Physically fit; able to lift 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in dirt, mud, confined spaces, and all weather conditions
- Ability to work long hours and travel to job sites
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Clean driving record
Preferred:
- Safety certifications - (H2S Clear, First Aid, Confined Space, Ground Disturbance)
Work Conditions:
- Outdoor work in varying conditions (heat, cold, rain, snow)
- Physically demanding tasks including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for
- extended periods
- May require travel, on-call shifts, weekends, or evenings
