Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our dynamic team committed to improving the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders. As an RBT, you will implement evidence-based behavioral interventions under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Your role will focus on delivering direct behavioral therapy, supporting clients in their daily activities, and collecting valuable data to track progress. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference while gaining hands-on experience in applied behavior analysis (ABA) and behavioral health.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, feeding, and hygiene, fostering independence and confidence.
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans based on ABA principles to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Collect and record behavioral data accurately during therapy sessions.
- Support clients in various settings, including in-clinic, home-based environments and school settings, ensuring consistency across environments.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members to ensure cohesive care plans and behavioral strategies are followed.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations by safeguarding client confidentiality and handling medical records responsibly.
Skills
- Experience working with children or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder.
- Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavior management techniques, and implementing ABA therapy protocols.
- Ability to assist with ADLs and support clients in developing independence skills.
- Strong data collection skills for behavioral data collection and progress tracking.
- Home-based behavioral experience or school experience is highly valued for understanding diverse client needs.
- Excellent client communication skills, demonstrating patience, empathy, and professionalism at all times.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour
