Job Description
Position:Shift Lead
Department:Production – 2A (Heat Shields)
Functional Area:Production – 2A (Heat Shields)
Classification : Non-Exempt Exempt
Reporting Structure: Manufacturing Supervisor
Educational Background Required:
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Skills, Training, Experience, Competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Attention to details
Ability to solve practical problems
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Good working knowledge of computers.
Job Content: Essential Functions Required for Job
Coordinates and oversee production operators within cell.
Reports output of cells in reference to the requirements from SAP.
Trains operators on their operations.
Coordinating and prestaging tools and materials for changeover.
Responsible for organization and cleanliness in their area while maintaining 5S.
Responsible for material flow (pre-preparation of material, material movements)
Responsible for overseeing correct scrap removal.
Responsible for reporting any deviations (material consumptions, quantity of operators, piece counts.
Ensures that all IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 policies are adhered to.
Performs other related duties assigned.
