We are seeking a skilled and passionate Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in meal preparation and a strong understanding of food safety and handling practices. This role is essential in delivering high-quality dishes that meet our fine dining standards. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu plans.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
- Assist in menu planning, contributing creative ideas for seasonal dishes.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including proper food storage.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during service hours.
- Participate in training new kitchen staff on food handling techniques and safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within the food industry, preferably in casual dining settings.
- Strong knowledge of meal preparation techniques and culinary methods.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices for kitchen hygiene.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Culinary degree or certification is a plus but not required.
