Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as an assistant baker. This role is essential in ensuring the quality and presentation of our baked goods while maintaining high standards of food safety and customer service. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for baking and cake decorating, and will thrive in a fast-paced food production environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of cheesecakes in various sizes for wholesale, and events
• Decorate cakes with creativity and attention to detail.
• Package finished products for sale or distribution, ensuring they meet quality standards.
• Assist in food preparation tasks, including measuring ingredients and mixing batter.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting positively with customers and addressing their needs.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient production flow within the kitchen.
• Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure the safety and quality of all products.

Qualifications

• Previous experience not necessary.
• Attention to detail.
• Familiarity with food safety standards and practices within the food industry.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing time efficiently.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs with no restrictions and be on your feet for 7-8 hours at a time.
