Job Overview
Shield Self Storage is an independently owned self storage and moving company seeking a reliable and customer-focused Office Administrator.
The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable using computers, and enjoys working directly with customers. This role requires the ability to work independently and manage daily office operations efficiently.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is required.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in person and over the phone
- Sign up new storage customers and explain rental terms
- Process payments (in-person and over the phone)
- Schedule moves and delivers
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional office environment
- Perform weekly closing procedures and basic reporting
Qualifications
- Bilingual (English / Spanish) – required
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Comfortable using computers, internet systems, and basic software
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks without supervision
Preferred:
- Experience with QuickBooks a plus
- Background in office administration
