General Characteristics
- Primary responsibility is sales with an emphasis on "New Sales" ie.. New Clients, New Markets, New Business Lines within Sector.
- Business development: identify and pursue new client/project opportunities through networking, proposals and presentations.
- Networking: Attend industry conferences, workshops, and networking events to promote the firm and establish connections.
- See and be seen
- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to capture new business opportunities.
- Sales Goals Provided Annually to each Individual
- Typical Minimum Starts at $2,000,000
- *Higher Utilization needed for lower sales
- 20% Adapted Utilization Expected at this Role
- New sales, new markets and new programs are expected and measured. Responsible for overall practice sales goal.
- Sales Strategy Development: Create and implement effective sales strategies to capture new business opportunities.
- Cross-Selling and Upselling: Identify opportunities to offer additional services to existing clients to increase revenue.
- Networking in New Areas: Attend regional industry events, conferences, and workshops to build connections and promote the firm’s services.
- Targeted Client Acquisition: Focus on acquiring clients that offer long-term, high-value projects to enhance revenue stability.
- Responsible for knowing the market rates (ie: fees) that can be charged to maximize value and ROI.
- Responsible for fee management, reviewing and checking proposals, including LOIs across sectors.

- Coordinate and Collaborate with Sector Program Managers.
- May serve in a dual Client Manger Role requiring the direction of a design team
