With a focus on Corporate Uniforms, Corporate Promotional Products, Wholesale, and Team Sports, we are experiencing rapid growth and expanding our production capabilities. We are seeking a dynamic Production Director to lead our production teams and ensure smooth and efficient operations across multiple work centers.
Job Overview :
The Production Manager will oversee production activities across various work centers, ensuring that each center operates at optimal efficiency. Our current work centers include Screen Printing, Embroidery, Direct to Film Printing, Heat Press, and Laser Engraving. This is a leadership role responsible for managing work center leads and the production planner. The Production Manager will ensure production is unblocked, maintain and operate a capacity model to manage resources, and analyze production trends to inform capital expenditure (capex) decisions. This role involves direct involvement in hiring, performance reviews, and general people management in conjunction with senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee day-to-day production activities across multiple work centers, ensuring smooth operations and timely fulfillment.
- Work closely with work center leads to remove any production bottlenecks and ensure resources are effectively allocated.
- Own and operate a capacity model to track and manage production capabilities, adjusting as needed to meet demand.
- Identify production trends and collaborate with senior management to inform decisions around capital expenditure and facility improvements.
- Lead, mentor, and support work center leads and the production planner, fostering a productive and collaborative work environment.
- Handle the hiring, training, and career development of employees, in conjunction with senior management.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all production areas.
- Continuously improving production processes to increase efficiency and reduce costs.
- Monitor production KPIs to ensure targets are met and exceeded.
- This position will have full control over the production area of the business
- This position will be a part of the executive leadership team at Bacon
