Lead Installer Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Install heating and air conditioning systems in accordance with company standards, ensuring a high-quality customer experience
- Supervise and lead installation team, maintaining quality workmanship while ensuring jobs are completed efficiently and on schedule
- Demonstrates a strong positive, can-do attitude with a commitment to quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
- Proven installation experience with the ability to complete jobs independently or with a helper
- Proficient in HVAC system design and installation, including ductwork fabrication and layout
- Solid understanding of refrigerant systems, gas and electric furnaces, and heat pumps, including troubleshooting and installation for residential and light commercial applications
- Ability to train, lead, and supervise helpers efficiently and effectively
- Strong safety knowledge, including proper use of tools, testing equipment, and awareness of jobsite conditions
- Working knowledge of HVAC low-voltage systems and controls
- Thorough understanding and application of applicable residential HVAC codes
- Capable of evaluating customer concerns and providing solutions that benefit both the customer and the company
- A valid drivers licence is required
Install Helper Responsibilities and Qualifications
- Help install new heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential settings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to quickly learn and apply technical concepts
- Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Willing and able to work in a variety of weather conditions
- Energetic, motivated, and team oriented attitude
- Highly organized with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Capable of performing physically demanding tasks in a safe and efficient manner
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically in the field
- Previous HVAC experience is preferred
- A valid drivers licence is required
Pay: $14.00 - $30.00 per hour
