What are the responsibilities and job description for the Truck Body & Paint Technician – Fiberglass / Polishing / Repairs position at Sherwood Truck Repair?
We are looking for an experienced Truck Body & Paint Technician to join our in-house maintenance team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with body repair, fiberglass work, polishing, and painting on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.
Responsibilities:
- Perform body repairs, dent removal, sanding, priming, and painting on trucks and trailers
- Complete fiberglass repairs, polishing, and finish restoration
- Prepare surfaces and ensure proper paint adhesion and quality finish
- Maintain tools, shop area, and safety standards
- Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to ensure timely repairs
Qualifications:
- Experience with truck or automotive body repair and painting
- Knowledge of fiberglass repair and polishing techniques
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and follow safety procedures
Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday (occasional Saturday work as needed)
Compensation & Benefits:
