What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Boys Soccer Coach 2026-2027 position at SHERWOOD HIGH SCHOOL?
Position start date: August 3, 2026
Previous high school coaching experience is recommended. The coach will assist the varsity coach in all aspects of the program and will be responsible for a sub-varsity team.
The applicant must be able to display the following attributes:

- A demonstrated ability to lead young student-athletes toward academic and athletic excellence.
- A strong ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders.
- Skilled in organization, time management and a commitment to the vision of the Sherwood Athletic Program.
- A great understanding of the training, skill development and coaching techniques involved in high school soccer.
- The ability to generate excitement and enthusiasm for the sport of soccer throughout the community.
- A commitment to the importance of academic excellence and achivement for all student-athletes in the program.
