Duties
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations and vital signs, to determine health status and identify underlying issues.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing modalities such as acupuncture, botanical medicine, nutritional counseling, IV infusion, and botulinum toxin treatments.
- Perform procedures including IV insertion, venipuncture, phlebotomy, injection administration, and aseptic technique to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals to coordinate holistic treatment approaches and optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, nutrition, and lifestyle modifications through clear health education and counseling sessions.
- Maintain accurate medical records using appropriate medical terminology and ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
- Stay current with advancements in integrative medicine and physiology knowledge to continually enhance clinical practice.
Qualifications
- Licensed Naturopathic Doctor with current certification in practicing naturopathic medicine.
- Proven experience in patient care within a primary care or holistic medicine setting.
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and clinical assessment techniques.
- Skilled in performing acupuncture, physical examinations, IV infusion, venipuncture, phlebotomy, injection administration, and botulinum toxin treatments.
- Familiarity with health education strategies and counseling techniques to support behavioral change.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals across disciplines for comprehensive patient management.
- Excellent communication skills to clearly explain treatment options and health recommendations to diverse patients.
