Job Title: Accounting Support & Compliance Specialist

Position Summary

The Accounting Support & Compliance Specialist supports accurate order processing, core accounting activities, and regulatory tracking. This role is a key link between sales, operations, and accounting to ensure clean data, timely billing, and compliant reporting.

Key Responsibilities

Order & Customer Data Management

• Enter and revise customer account setup detail and ensure data accuracy.
• Maintain and update customer price lists, and product offerings.
• Process internet orders and submit them to Sherwood order entry teams.
• Respond to website inquiries related to orders, pricing, and delivery.
• Coordination between plants and carriers for white glove and warranty deliveries.
• Administer companywide warranty processes.

Accounting Transactions & Support

• Prepare, record, and reconcile regular check deposits in accordance with accounting procedures.
• Enter invoices accurately and promptly, ensuring proper coding and timely processing.
• Assist with journal entry preparation and account reconciliation support.
• Set up new vendors, ensuring complete and compliant documentation.
• Other duties as assigned.

Compliance & Regulatory Reporting

• Act as the compliance liaison, coordinating with office management to ensure compliance binders and documentation are kept up to date.
• Track and report operational metrics and initiatives as directed by leadership.
• Oversee data collection for required government reporting.

Benefits

Salary : $45,000 - $55,000
