CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
Within Enterprise Finance, this role will be part of a once in a generation finance transformation via operational testing and transformation management. This role will function under the Enterprise Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team to enhance the delivery of planning, budgeting and forecasting for all global business units. It will support the legacy EPM system and processes as well as the transition to OneStream and implementation of additional Onestream modules such as PeoplePlanning.
Seeking a strong contributing Accounting/Finance member of the Onestream/EPM team that will actively work to obtain a broad knowledge of FP&A business processes for each business unit and the functionality of the Onestream system. Role will provide Onestream support for the businesses, actively work with the businesses to seek system and process enhancement opportunities, and lead enhancement and implementation initiatives from end to end (requirements gathering, testing, go-live, etc). Role will also actively support the legacy Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) suite (Planning, Essbase, DRM, Smartview, OBIEE, and OneStream) in issue resolution.
1. Primary contact for all communication to operating division power-users for all Onestream/EPM development and use.
a. working with end users to troubleshoot issues
b. aid in gathering business requirements for all production enhancements
c. aid in gathering business requirements for all future EPM projects
2. Clear and constant communication between the EPM group (Finance & IT) to articulate what changes will be happening via EPM and Data Relationship Management (DRM) monthly.
3. EPM/OneStream Project & Production support
a. Liaison between Business Segments and IT Developers
b. creating/adjusting webforms and reports
c. Inbound/Outbound data interfaces
d. system testing
e. data integrity
4. Lead the testing efforts for both Production support and future EPM projects
a. Creating and executing test scripts
b. Verify data using data sheets
c. Utilize Jira to manage testing and defects.
d. Coordinate System Performance Testing
5. Develop and conduct end user training.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
1. FORMAL EDUCATION:
a. Required: Bachelor’s degree in Finance / Accounting or a related field
b. Preferred: MBA
2. KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:
a. Required:
- 5 years of Financial / Accounting experience
- Experience working on a project, or involved in a project/ team environment
b. Preferred:
- Project leadership experience
- FP&A experience
3. TECHNICAL/SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
a. Required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidential information
- Close attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be a team-oriented individual with a high degree of flexibility and work ethic
- Strong multi-tasking skills to handle multiple priorities and projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Power Point, Word)
b. Preferred:
- Proficient in Microsoft Access
- Experience with Onestream and/or Hyperion Enterprise with any Oracle EPM tools (Planning, Smartview, Essbase, HSF, HFM or OBIEE)
- Experience with Oracle Data Relationship Management application, or comparable metadata management application
- Experience with any non-Oracle Business Intelligence (BI) tools (Microstrategy, Business Objects)
