POSITION VISION AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Are you a high-energy professional who thrives on converting leads into successful projects? Sherwin Electrical is seeking an Electrical Estimator to act as the "tip of the spear" for our sales force. This role is the driving force behind our revenue and pipeline growth, requiring a "Closer" mentality to cultivate strategic relationships and ensure our project pipeline exceeds sales goals.
As Estimator, you will take full ownership of the estimating pipeline and serve as a technical and product expert. Your core responsibilities include:
- Pipeline & Sales Management: Take ownership of the estimating pipeline, responding to all sales leads within 24 hours to maintain a pipeline sufficient for meeting quarterly revenue goals.
- Business Development: Build, manage, and grow the future project pipeline through key account development and converting sales opportunities, focusing on high-value clients needing both mission-critical and traditional services.
- Strategic Estimating: Perform technical take-offs and project analysis while proactively assessing, managing, and mitigating risks to maintain gross profit across all managed projects.
- Project Leadership: Manage projects through to completion, ensuring a seamless transition from the initial bid to final delivery.
- Technical Compliance: Ensure all estimates align with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and local ordinances while upholding Sherwin’s high standards for technical precision.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience: Proven track record in electrical estimating with a focus on sales and relationship management.
- Technical Expertise: Expert knowledge of commercial/residential electrical systems, NEC, and local codes. Advanced proficiency in industry-standard estimating software (Accubid preferred) and familiarity with CRM platforms.
- Skills: Excellent math skills, high tech-savviness, and the ability to effectively juggle various tasks and priorities.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in all tasks and a high level of situational awareness.
- Requirements: Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to pass a background check/drug test.
