About Our Process
Job Overview – Accountant - 34231
We are seeking a contract Accountant to support day-to-day accounting operations during a system transition period. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, managing general ledger activity, and ensuring smooth transactional accounting within QuickBooks while the organization prepares for a NetSuite implementation.
This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who can step in quickly, take ownership, and operate independently in a dynamic environment.
- Oversee and manage all general ledger (GL) activities
- Perform account and bank reconciliations, including management of 7–8 bank accounts
- Manage and reconcile commercial credit card activity
- Maintain accurate financial records within QuickBooks
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes as needed
- Assist with month-end close and ensure timely, accurate reporting
- Identify and resolve discrepancies across accounts and transactions
- Support data integrity and preparation efforts related to the NetSuite implementation
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure continuity during system transition
- 3 years of accounting experience, with strong focus on GL and reconciliations
- Hands-on experience with QuickBooks
- Strong understanding of transactional accounting processes (AP/AR)
- Experience managing multiple bank accounts and credit card reconciliations
- Ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills
