Sherpa 6 has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Systems Integrator in support UMLARC's New England Drone Innovation (NEDI) Center Integration Services by establishing and operating two key capabilities: a Drone Tactical Operations Center (TOC) for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS)/Counter-UAS (C-UAS) operations and an Integration, Innovation, and Interoperability Center (IC3) that streamlines partner onboarding, technology evaluation, and transition. The selected candidate will serve as a senior technical integrator responsible for synchronizing emerging C4ISR technologies, tactical communications systems, and network architectures across multiple program offices, vendors, and operational stakeholders. Role and Responsibilities * Serve as the primary technical integrator between DEVCOM, program offices, vendors, and external stakeholders.
- Provide senior-level operational (OPS) leadership experience in establishing, managing, and sustaining mission-critical environments, including development of CONOPS, TTPs, and SOPs; integration of multi-domain sensors and command-and-control systems; coordination of cross-functional personnel; and execution of performance-based operations in support of federal UAS/C-UAS mission requirements.Lead integration, testing, and validation of emerging C4ISR, ITN, and Nett Warrior technologies.
- Design and support tactical and hybrid network architectures (classified and unclassified).
- Integrate and configure: * ATAK, WinTAK, CIVTAK, TAK Server (cloud, hybrid, and edge deployments) * Tactical radios (wideband and narrowband) * Satellite, cellular, and MANET/mesh networks * Mission Command Systems (MSS, AFATDS, etc.) * Support fielding synchronization, system demonstrations, and Soldier touch points.
- Identify and resolve system discrepancies, interoperability gaps, and integration defects.
- Develop equipment standards, technical specifications, and integration documentation.
- Provide hands-on training to Soldiers and program stakeholders on new equipment and network capabilities.
- Support RDT&E efforts, lab testing, and operational experimentation events.
- Maintain awareness of emerging military, commercial, AI-enabled, and cloud technologies relevant to Army modernization. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience managing on-site, off-site and remote employees.
- In-depth knowledge of the Unified Command structure, joint doctrine, and joint policies.
- Minimum of 8 years' experience in implementing and training software systems/updates, standard operating procedures and technical documentation.
- Ability to communicate issues and solutions to various stakeholders.
- Excellent writing communication and reporting skills. * Must be a US citizen. * Must pass a background check and drug screening. Preferred Experience: * Part 107 drone license

- Experience utilizing the Joint Planning Process (JPP) and Joint Intelligence Preparation of Operational Environment (JIPOE). * Prior military service (SOF, Signal, Electronic Warfare, UxS, CUxS, or Communications fields preferred)
