Sherman's bookstore in Bar Harbor is looking for full-time booksellers to join our small team of passionate readers for the upcoming season, from May through October.
As a bookseller, you would be responsible for:
- Providing quality service to our customers by helping them find and order books and merchandise
- Receiving and shelving books
- Receiving, labeling, and putting away merchandise
- Cashiering
- Regularly restocking, organizing, and maintaining displays and bookshelves
- Cleaning
The ideal applicant must be able to:
- Provide impeccable customer service
- Use computers comfortably
- Be on their feet all day
- Lift 30 lbs
Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal
Pay: $20.00 per hour
