Join our vibrant pet care team as a Dog Bather, where your passion for animals and dedication to their well-being will shine!
Shift availability:
- We're open Wednesday to Sunday.
- Looking for a bather to work 3-5 days a week, starting somewhere between Thursdays to Sunday.
Responsibilities
- Safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments during bathing, grooming, and drying processes
- Perform pet grooming tasks including bathing, brushing, nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat trimming
- Use animal restraint techniques to ensure safety for pets and staff during grooming procedures
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of grooming stations and equipment regularly
- Assist with basic dog training exercises to promote good behavior during grooming sessions
Requirements
- Prior experience with pet grooming or animal handling is highly preferred
- Strong animal handling skills with the ability to manage dogs safely and calmly
- Ability to perform heavy lifting when necessary for handling larger dogs (~60lb) or equipment
- Willingness to learn new skills related to pet grooming, animal restraint, and care protocols
Pay: $22.00 per hour
