What are the responsibilities and job description for the Escape Room Game Master position at Sherlock's Escape Rooms?

As a Game Master, your role is to entertain and help guide players through an immersive escape room adventure as they try to find clues, solve puzzles, and escape a room in less than 60 minutes! This role is perfect for an outgoing, energetic person who enjoys working with and leading others.
In addition to base pay - our Game Masters can also be eligible to receive tips and monthly cash bonuses! Opportunities for raises and promotions are available based on individual performance.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 16 years old with reliable transportation and flexible work schedule
- Positive attitude and high level of energy, focus, and engagement
- Excellent communication, public speaking, and customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and excellent memory skills
- Basic computer experience
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and check-in customers for their games
- Provide enthusiastic pre-game instructions to small and large groups
- Manage in-game play (i.e., control station, offering clues, role-playing, etc.)
- Provide post-game outro (i.e., taking group photos, retail sales, etc.)
- Quickly and accurately reset game room using checklists provided
- Maintain facility/props (repairing and/or reporting damage, wear, etc.)
- Answer customer questions, book reservations, and other guest relations (over-the-phone and in-person)
- Perform opening and closing duties (upon eligibility/assignment)
- General cleaning (i.e., vacuuming, sanitizing and cleaning rooms/props, bathrooms, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned by supervisor(s)
