SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:
The Deal Processing Clerk receives each deal to ensure that all necessary documentation is included. The deal is then broken down and processed.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Inputs deal information into the computer.
- Prints state and insurance paperwork.
- Ensures customer signs all required paperwork.
- Reconciles and submits warranties and insurances to proper facility, bank, etc.
- After deal is bought by a financial institution, the deal is returned for proper processing.
- Process paperwork to be forwarded to Title Clerk.
- Process paperwork to be forwarded to Billing.
- Make copies of paperwork and distribute to the proper individual(s).
- Prepare and process all bank papers to be sent overnight/mail.
- Make follow-up calls to banks when necessary.
- Obtain information required to complete funding process if necessary.
Required:
- High School diploma or the equivalent.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information, both written and oral.
- Knowledge of dealership finance and insurance procedures.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Computer/Data entry skills. Microsoft Excel proficient. Customer-related experience.
- 8:00-4:30
- Monday - Friday
- Occasional overtime may be required
