Do you love books, people, and creating meaningful connections in your community? We’re looking for a friendly, motivated Part-Time Bookseller to join our team!
Requirements:
- Must be 18 or older
- Weekend availability is required
- Retail experience is necessary
- A passion for excellent customer service and connecting with customers through books
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently
- Reliable, positive, and excited to contribute to an inviting bookstore atmosphere
- Maintain a neat, clean, and professional appearance appropriate for a customer-facing retail environment
- Comfortable being on your feet for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry boxes of books (possibly up to 30–40 lbs)
- Able to bend, reach, and move throughout the store to shelve and organize inventory
What You’ll Do:
- Assist customers with recommendations and purchases
- Maintain tidy, organized shelves and displays
- Operate the register and handle transactions
- Support store events and daily operations
