Responsibilities
- Perform exterior vehicle washing using appropriate cleaning equipment and techniques to ensure a spotless finish.
- Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing using automotive buffers to restore shine and remove surface imperfections.
- Detail vehicle interiors thoroughly, including vacuuming, cleaning carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, and other surfaces to achieve a pristine look.
- Operate standard passenger cars safely, including manual transmission vehicles, adhering to safe work practices at all times.
- Assist with vehicle exterior maintenance tasks such as window tinting and light cosmetic repairs when needed.
- Handle heavy lifting of vehicles or equipment safely while maintaining proper posture and using appropriate tools.
- Maintain cleanliness of the auto detailing facility and ensure all cleaning equipment is properly used and stored.
Experience
- Previous experience working in an auto detailing or car wash environment is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
- Familiarity with vehicle exterior washing, buffing, and paint correction techniques is advantageous.
- Knowledge of safe work practices related to automotive cleaning equipment and heavy lifting procedures.
- Experience with custodial or janitorial tasks that involve detailed cleaning and maintenance of cleanliness standards.
- Ability to operate automotive buffers, cleaning tools, and other detailing equipment effectively.
- Strong customer service skills to communicate professionally with clients about vehicle care services.
- Valid driving license with experience operating standard passenger cars; familiarity with manual transmissions is a plus.
