Role & Responsibilities

As a Night Shift Nurse (LVN or RN), you will:

• Provide skilled nursing care to residents (long-term) and rehab guests (short-term).
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, perform assessments, and document per state and facility policy.
• Respond to resident emergencies or changes in condition, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.
• Work closely with CNAs, therapists, and physicians to implement individualized care plans.
• Uphold Sheridan’s standards for resident dignity, respect, and comfort.
• Contribute to a safe, clean, and home-like environment.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Valid LVN or RN license in the State of Texas
• Previous experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehab preferred
• Comfort working night shift (12-hour overnight)
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication skills; compassionate and resident-focused attitude
• Ability to work independently overnight, but also collaborate in a team
