We are currently seeking a dependable and caring Transportation Aide to join our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely transport residents to and from medical appointments, social outings, and scheduled activities.
- Ensure the safety and comfort of residents during transport by following all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, well-maintained vehicle for transportation purposes.
- Communicate kindly and effectively with residents, ensuring positive and supportive interactions.
- Ensure timely and safe transport to and from appointments and events.
- Adhere to all local and state driving regulations and maintain a safe driving record.
- Perform additional duties as requested by campus administration.
Schedule
- Full-time hours, primarily daytime.
- Flexibility required for occasional evenings or weekends when residents need transportation.
Requirements
- Valid Illinois driver's license in good standing with a clean driving record.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact professionally and respectfully with residents and staff.
- Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to assist in a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining resident dignity, safety, and comfort.
