We are hiring a reliable and compassionate Full-Time Phlebotomist to serve residents across three skilled nursing facilities: Medical Suites at Oak Creek (Oak Creek, WI), Sheridan Health and Rehabilitation (Kenosha, WI), and Waters Edge Health and Rehabilitation (Kenosha, WI).
This position requires the ability to travel between facilities regularly and ensures consistent, high-quality care to our residents through professional blood collection and specimen handling.
Position Highlights:
Full-time schedule with regular hours
Travel required between Oak Creek and Kenosha locations
Supportive nursing and clinical teams
A meaningful role in resident care
Key Responsibilities:
Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection with care and accuracy
Label, process, and prepare specimens for laboratory transport
Follow all infection control and safety protocols
Communicate effectively with residents, nursing staff, and lab personnel
Maintain clean, stocked phlebotomy supplies at each facility
Accurately document collection information and update medical records
Ensure resident dignity, comfort, and privacy during all procedures
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of a recognized Phlebotomy training program
Phlebotomy Technician certification (CPT) preferred
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Prior phlebotomy experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting strongly preferred
Ability to work independently and adapt to different facility environments
Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and professionalism
