About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team in the retail trade industry. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service while ensuring proper knife handling and food health and safety standards are met. Your main goal will be to efficiently and accurately cut and prepare meat products for sale. You will be expected to complete your work in a timely manner and take responsibility for your own actions. Additionally, you will be required to lift and carry heavy weights, so physical fitness is a must. Your ability to inspire the trust of others and report potentially unsafe conditions will be crucial to your success in this role.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Meat Cutter or similar role
- Knowledge of meat preparation techniques and cuts
- Ability to use and maintain various cutting tools and equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification from a culinary school or apprenticeship program
- Experience in a retail meat department
- Knowledge of inventory management and ordering processes
