Role Description
This is a full-time Associate role located on-site in Minneapolis, MN. The Associate will handle a variety of tasks, including legal research, drafting pleadings and legal documents, and representing clients in court. The role also involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, developing case strategies, and advocating on their behalf. Collaboration with the firm's legal team and maintaining up-to-date knowledge of laws within criminal defense and family law are essential duties.
Qualifications
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Proficiency in drafting pleadings, contracts, and legal documentation
- Effective skills in client communication and case strategy development
- Experience in courtroom advocacy and litigation processes
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Bar admission in Minnesota is required
- Previous experience in criminal defense or family law is highly desirable
- A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
