Registered Nurse (Med/Surg) Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including assessment, treatment, and evaluation
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in clinical status
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and interdisciplinary teams
- Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and discharge instructions
- Document accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Support patient safety, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives
- Coordinate care transitions and communicate across departments
- Assist in managing patient flow and unit operations
- Delegate tasks appropriately and support CNA team members
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards

Qualifications:- Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate or BSN)
- BLS certification required
- ACLS and Telemetry experience preferred
- Previous Med/Surg, acute care, or hospital nursing experience preferred
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
- Ability to manage multiple patients in a fast-paced environment
